Mukhtar Mai will be happy, who has ruined the life of 14 families for the last about 9 years. Besides this five accused, who were acquitted by the High Court also could not be released in spite of a valid order by the competent court in their favour and all the cannons of justice were destroyed by the Supreme Court itself.
Mukhtaran the August Supreme Court consumed about six years in deciding the case. Who will be held responsible that 13 accused in spite of the acquittal order in their favour had been bound to remain behind the bars for the last about 6 years.
Why, when there will be only academic discussion and the liberty of the person is not involved. Now, one point of Mst. Mukhtar Mai case is that she belonged to an economically sound party than the accused and the Panchait had been convened by her party as in fact the brother of Mst.
